Everything you need to know
Will my private health insurance cover the cost of my treatment?
Our office can provide you with an indicative code for each proposed procedure, but ultimate responsibility for confirmation of insurance cover rests on you as the policy holder. Confirmation of cover will necessitate you making contact with your insurance provider and quoting the procedure code, the hospital location, and the medical provider.
Without private health insurance what are the costs of this operation?
If you haven’t any health insurance cover, then spinal surgery in a private hospital can be expensive. My secretary can call the hospitals and get an all-in price for any procedures that I may recommend.
Whilst spinal surgery is expensive, the cost of not being able to work to full capacity is often more financially debilitating.
Do I need a GP referral?
Yes you will need a GP referral to see Dr Murphy. You can upload your GP referral letter via the form provided on the home page of this site. If you don’t have a referral please contact your GP.
Where is the treatment offered?

Call on (086) 130 3362 or email to email@example.com
Public Patients via referral in Tallaght University Hospital or Naas General Hospital.
Are there parking facilities at treatment centres?
Yes, an underground carpark is available underneath the hospital. You must take a ticket upon entering the carpark and pay your parking fee at a machine in the carpark before exiting.
Please note, the carpark is not owned by the hospital and so the hospital cannot validate patient or visitor parking tickets.
